olivia wojtowicz

Olivia Wojtowicz (New Egypt, NJ) received her dance training at Princeton Ballet School. While there, she has performed alongside American Repertory Ballet’s professional company in “The Nutcracker,” where she debuted as Clara at age 15. She studied dance performance at Montclair State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in May 2024. Since attending Montclair, Olivia has performed in many works choreographed by the faculty and guest artists including: Tommie-Waheed Evans, Christian von Howard, Maxine Steinman, Jessica DiMauro-Marks, Michelle Manzanales, Doug Varone, Hollis Bartlett, and Nattie Trogdon. She also served as rehearsal assistant for Tommie-Waheed Evans and as a demonstrator for department auditions. During her time at Montclair, she has also studied abroad in Sweden where she took multiple styles of dance classes from Julia Ehrstrand and other faculty of the dance schools there. Since graduating, Wojtowicz has been finding different ways to share her art, including teaching and choreographing at different dance studios including RPM Dance Company and Ady Arts Center. Additionally, she is collaborating with Kierstyn Edore under Opus//The Company, as the Public Relations Associate. And coming up most recent, she has accepted a job with Roxey Ballet as an Artist/Teaching Artist with their professional dance company.

alyssia farias

Alyssia Farias [Bedford, New Hampshire] began her dance training in New England and will be graduating from Montclair State University in the spring where she has performed works by Dolly Sfeir, Yusha-Marie Sorzano, André Tyson, Cameron McKinney, and Leslie Kraus. Farias has also trained closely with Doug Varone and Dancers, Takehiro Ueyama, Stephanie Batten Bland, Christian von Howard and Karen Gayle. They have performed work presented in the Northeast American College Dance Association Conference, Koresh Artist Showcase and Modern Moves. Alyssia enjoys collaborating, choreographing and performing with musicians through the John J. Cali School of Music and recently served as assistant choreographer to Donna Scro Samori in the opera La Calisto.

Christina is a Central Jersey native, and is currently earning their BFA in Choreography and Performance from Montclair State University. They have performed works by Stefanie Batten-Bland, Maxine Steinman, and Jessica Dimauro-Marks, and has also been featured in KM Dance Collective. They have attended multiple events including Koresh Artists Showcase, New Jersey Moves, Modern Moves, and American College Dance Association Northeast Conference. Christina has also collaborated with actors through Evolve Student Theatre Co., and is excited to produce their first evening length work with Evolve this upcoming February.

chloe mcarthur

Chloe McArthur (Long Island, NY) is a classically and commercially trained dancer. She received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Montclair State University. Ms. McArthur began her training at Variations, A Dancer's Studio and continued to train at Long Island High School of the Arts. At Montclair State, Chloe has been in works choreographed by Christian von Howard, Dolly Sfeir, Kathleen Kelley, Doug Varone, and Maxine Steinman. Outside of MSU, she has worked with Norbert De La Cruz, Nathan Trice, Ballet Jazz Montreal, Preston Mui, Earl Mosley, and Tsai Hsi Hung.

Nicole Pellegrin (Houma, LA) is a movement artist who is expected to graduate from Montclair State University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography in May of 2025. Throughout the course of their training, she has had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers such as Yusha Marie Sorzano, Leslie Kraus, Cat Cogliandro, and Ehizoje Azeke, among others. Most recently, they were seen performing in Bridge for Dance’s Uptown Rising performance series, and she has also attended summer training programs such as CONCRETE—an immersive theater intensive spearheaded by Stefanie Batten Bland—and Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts.

McKenzie Brewer (she/her) is a performer, artist, choreographer, and teacher originally from Jacksonville, FL. She is a graduate from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, FL. In 2024, McKenzie graduated cum laude with her BFA in Dance Performance from Montclair State University. She has performed works by Stefanie Batten Bland, Frederick Earl Mosley, Jennifer Archibald, Cat Cogliandro, Christian Von Howard, Paul Taylor, Doug Varone and more. Alongside her collegiate training she also trained at summer intensives such as Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, Domaine Forget de Charlevoix, Concrete Immersive Theater Intensive, and more. Her choreography has also debuted at Montclair State University's DanceMakers Show 2022 to 2024, Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts Emerging Choreographer Show 2022, and Earl Mosley's Dancing Beyond 2024 Showcase, along with other choreographic festivals. She has had the opportunity to set work on Montclair High School’s Dance Company for their 2024 Spring Dance Concert. Ms. Brewer has taught many different styles and has had the opportunity to teach young dancers from intensives in Florida, New Jersey, and New York.

Anne mohan

Anne Mohan (Green Township, NJ) is a classically trained contemporary dance artist based in the NJ/NYC area. From 2011-2020 Ms. Mohan trained at North Jersey School of Dance Arts in Hackettstown, NJ. She received her BFA in Dance Performance from Montclair State University in May 2024, graduating Summa Cum Laude as a presidential scholar. At MSU, Ms. Mohan has performed in works by Doug Varone, Gaspard Louis, Pamela Pietro, Maxine Steinman, Christian von Howard and Jessie Dimauro-Marks. Apart from her time at MSU she has trained under Gelsey Kirkland, Sean Kelly, Luba Gulyaeva and Doug Varone.

gryff tate

With Roots in both coasts, Gryffin (Gryff) born in LosAngeles CA, raised in Arizona, where they began training with Cecila Castillo Fisher & Ballet Phoenix until the age of fifteen. Now a resident of Elizabeth NJ, and a graduate of Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy, co 19’. During their studies at Jeff, Gryff formed close relationships within the community, the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble, Elizabeth City & The Elizabeth BoE, where they continue to dedicate their passion to their community. Gryff studied at Montclair State University from fall 2019 to spring of 2024. She went to build upon her technique and expand her creative tool box training in the department of Dance. Mentored by renowned artists, Stefanie Batten Bland, Maxine Steinman and Christan Von Howard, along with dance & theater experts; Cameron Mckinney, Tweetboogie, Douge Varone, and Karen Gayle. In May 2024 they performed in the Griffin Theater at the Shed NYC, alongside the cast of “How to Bend Down/How to Pick It Up”, a work challenging accessibility and empowering disabled artists, by creator Kayla Hamilton.

 

Gryff has had opportunities to show their own work at Modern Moves, a performance series curated by good friends and colleagues, Jordyn Cherry and Amina Kolenc. As of 2025 Gryff has been in motion with Kierstyn Edore and Opus//The Company, and she is very excited to be joining the company on this journey. The connections forged thereafter encourage Gryffin to persist as an author. To continue to challenge the human experience and utilize the language of dance & rhythm to storytell. With their ardor for the arts, the land and our human interconnectedness, their commitment to humanity strengthens as they shapeshift for radical change.

Vanessa “Nessa” Martinez is a junior BFA dance major at Montclair State University. Growing up, Martinez trained in various styles at For Dancers Only NJ, as well as attending a pre-professional training program based in NYC. Martinez has performed in venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Prudential Center, NJPAC, and many more. She’s had the pleasure of working with and performing works by Cat Cogliandro, Elisabetta Spuria, Stefanie Batten-Bland, Miguel Miranda, Kristilee Maiella, Stephanie Martinez, and many more. Martinez most recently is a company member of KM Dance Collective as well as Opus// the Company, and worked with Capezio Dancewear as a Capezio Athlete.
