
About The Director
Kierstyn Edore, a North Jersey native, graduated from Montclair State University with her B.F.A. in Dance and a Minor in Psychology. She has created and performed in both live dance works as well as film, and recently presented work at Williams Center and Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center. She is a founding member of KM Dance Collective, and is currently dancing with Freespace Dance Company. Kierstyn has danced for events including APAP 2023, Koresh Artist Showcase, the Capezio ACE Awards, NJPAC and Nimbus Emerging Choreographers, The Chita Rivera Awards, and American College Dance Association Showcase. She has been a featured choreographer across school districts and dance studios for both concert and competitive work. Kierstyn has worked closely with renowned artists Stefanie Batten Bland, Leslie Kraus, Dan Safer, Yusha-Marie Sorzano, Dolly Sfeir, Jaclyn Walsh, Christian von Howard, and Jason Luks. Kierstyn's work aims to explore the human experience as well as relational concepts between people and the worlds around them. A priority of her creation process is collaboration and influence from visual art, theater, and music.
